Flexible Subsea Risers

Subsea risers require more care when conducting leak detection surveys as there is the ever present danger of collision by the inspection ROV. It is therefore imperative that the ROV goes no closer to the subsea riser than is absolutely necessary. It is also preferable to operate the ROV on the down flow side so that tidal currents don't cause the vessel to collide or tangle with the subsea riser.

With Neptune's long range fluorometers safe operating conditions can be maintained as the sensor does not need contact with the tracer dye to detect it.
